I
I
I
AND A WHOLE LOT MORE.......
Growing up in the Bronx, New York, I was first inspired by the legends from Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, Ringo Starr.... My beginning was rooted in 60's and 70's Rock! There was so much great music back then, influences like Zeppelin, The Stones, Beatles, Tull, ELP, Doors, CSNY, Santana, Kiss, Who and so many more!
In 1968 I quickly took all my saved money, a whopping $90.00 and bought myself a mid-sixties Gretsch 3-piece kit ( if I had only kept it!). My Dad was threatening to "throw those drums out the window", but my parents soon realized I might be in this for the long haul.
I joined my first band at age twelve. We were the "Beachcombers", and played our first gig as the orchestra band for the "Wizard of Oz" production the local Catholic school. I was hooked, and actually dated the "wicked Witch of the West" for a few months thereafter.
From New York to LA, Dallas to Sacramento, I am a hard-rocking dynamic drummer carrying the torch for Rock and Roll, having played for upwards of 20,000 people!
"Come experience......my experience!"

The first song I learned to play was "Hey Joe" by Jimi Hendrix. I was 13 years old. Growing up in New York City in the 60's and 70's, my early influences were all the great rock bands of the time....Allman Brothers, Cream, Doors, Stones, Santana, Who and Zeppelin.
Other influences included Bad Company, Doobie Brothers, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Frampton, Grand Funk, Johnny Winter, Lynrd Skynard, Marshall Tucker, Pink Floyd, Rush, Steve Miller, Steely Dan, Stevie Ray Vaughan,
Supertramp, Thin Lizzy, Tom Petty, Van Halen, ZZ Top and many others.
Joined my first band on the east coast in 1979. We played one gig and broke up. After moving to California, I joined another band and have been playing in various bands ever since. Performances have taken me from LA, up the coast to Portland, Seattle and Vancover...across the country to NY, NJ, and Toronto and across the Atlantic to Europe.
Over the years, I have had the good fortune to play with many talented musicians and this group is no exception. If you like Classic Rock. we can take back in time and deliver what you are looking for!

There wasn’t a better time to grow up than the 60’s and 70’s! Bell bottom jeans, tie-dyed shirts, love beads, Woodstock and some of the best music ever created!
I remember banging on a set of bongos at a party hosted by my very young parents. They belonged to “Danny the Bongo Player”, a friend of my Fathers who patiently tried to teach me hand drumming when I was about 6 years old. My childhood home had music playing 24/7. You name it everything from rock, pop, soul, R&B, country, jazz and yes even Disco!
In the fourth grade, I asked my Dad if I could take up lessons to play the trumpet, that resulted in settling to join the grade school choir, which of course, I did.
When I was 13 years old, I bought my first guitar, it was an Alvarez acoustic. It made many trips with me out to the woods, playing and singing with friends, songs of the Eagles, Neil Young, Cat Stevens, America, Fleetwood Mac and more, and then there were the garage bands, and we had many. They were the best of times!
I've had a love affair with music my entire life, performed on many stages with rock star dreams, but my life in the Corporate sector paid the bills and now its all just for fun, but with the same "unbridled' passion of the days of my youth.
Ever since my birth in the Bay area, and for as long as I can remember, music has been a big part of my life.
From my early 1st grade beginnings of guitar while in Pananma, rock bands in junior and high school in Novato, CA,, country bands all around, and a "dashboard drummer" every moment between. Early bands in those days included obscure names like The Pendletons, Blues Train, EBS with songs form the The Ventures, The Kingsmen, Beach Boys, Motown and early R&R playing many gigs in California and Nevada.
While waiting and hoping to become a "rock star" my salaried careers have taken me into television news, I.T. and a short stint in the Army. Influenced early by my Mom and Dad singing in church choirs, my father in bar-shop quartets and listening and learning from all the big bass legends.
